Appointments as You Need
Flexible, woman-centred midwifery support in clinic, at home, or online.

Midwife Appointments in Sydney
Not every woman wants or needs a full midwifery package. Sometimes you simply need care in the moment — reassurance in early pregnancy, a check-in to prepare for birth, or support in the tender weeks after your baby is born. My flexible appointments give you the freedom to access midwifery care as you need it.
All appointments are unhurried and personal. We can meet at my Paddington clinic, in the comfort of your home if you’re in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, or online via Telehealth if you’re further away. Medicare rebates apply for most sessions, and no referral is needed to book.

Prices on this page are shown as out-of-pocket after the Medicare rebate (where eligible).

Antenatal Appointments. Pregnancy Support & Planning
Gentle, unhurried visits to check on your pregnancy, answer questions, and plan ahead for birth.
During pregnancy, it’s natural to have questions, hopes, and sometimes worries. Antenatal appointments give us space to check on your health and your baby, while also focusing on the bigger picture of your journey into birth and motherhood.
A Pregnancy Confirmation visit (bulk billed) is often the first gentle step if this is your initial contact in pregnancy. I confirm your pregnancy, arrange early referrals for tests or scans, and answer your first questions.
An Initial Antenatal Appointment (60 minutes) allows us to take time with your story. We go through your history, talk about your hopes, and create a personalised care plan together.
A Standard Antenatal Appointment (40 minutes) provides space for routine monitoring, reassurance, and any questions you’d like to explore
An Extended Antenatal Appointment (90 minutes) offers more room for deeper conversations, such as detailed birth planning, exploring emotional wellbeing, or navigating more complex needs.
Postnatal Appointments. Support for You & Your Baby
The first weeks after birth are both precious and demanding. These appointments are designed to support your recovery while helping you nurture your baby with confidence.
A Standard Postnatal Appointment (40 minutes) is ideal for practical support. checking your healing, helping with feeding, ensuring your baby’s growth and wellbeing, and answering your questions about sleep, settling, or daily rhythms.
An Extended Postnatal Appointment (90 minutes) provides more spacious support. It may include a birth debrief, emotional care, or extra guidance with breastfeeding and newborn care. Sometimes, just having more time to talk things through can make all the difference.
A Home Visit Add-On allows me to bring this care into your home, so you don’t have to leave the nest in those early days unless you want to
Telehealth Appointments. Care Wherever You Are in Australia
Telehealth appointments are available to women across Australia.
Even if you’re not in Sydney, you can still access midwifery care. These are perfect if you’d like pregnancy or postnatal support that doesn’t require hands-on care. We can use this time for birth planning, emotional support, feeding questions, or simply a reassuring check-in from someone who understands the journey.
A lot of care can be done via Telehealth. If you are not sure, please reach out.

Packaged Care
If you’d like more ongoing support, I offer two package options that bring together a series of appointments while keeping flexibility at the centre.

Birth Care Package. Complete private midwifery support through pregnancy, birth, and the tender early weeks postpartum. MORE >
Both options are designed to give you the right balance of continuity, personalised care, and choice.
Hyperemesis Support
Specialist Midwifery Care for Severe Nausea & Vomiting in Pregnancy
For some women, pregnancy sickness is more than “morning sickness.”
Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) is a severe condition that can cause relentless nausea, persistent vomiting, dehydration, weight loss, and exhaustion. It’s overwhelming, and it deserves proper care. You are not alone, and you don’t need to “push through” without support.
As a private midwife, I can:
Assess and monitor your health — checking hydration, nutrition, blood pressure, and weight changes.
Provide referrals for blood tests, scans, and hospital care when fluids or medications are needed.
Prescribe anti-nausea medications and help you find the safest, most effective options.
Offer IV hydration referrals if oral intake isn’t possible.
Support your emotional wellbeing. HG can be isolating and mentally exhausting, and talking it through matters.
Work alongside your GP or obstetrician to ensure you have a full circle of care.
Evidence & Resources:
Hyperemesis Australia reminds us that HG is not something women can “just cope with.” It is a medical condition that requires timely treatment to protect both mother and baby. Early recognition and treatment make a significant difference in reducing complications and improving quality of life.
Reassurance:
With the right support, many women find their symptoms can be managed more safely and comfortably. Whether you need one appointment for medication and reassurance, or ongoing care throughout your pregnancy, I can walk beside you.
Location & Access
In person appointments take place at The Gathering Space in Paddington, Sydney.
Home visits are available to women living in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney and surrounding areas, within approximately a 30-minute radius of Paddington. If you're unsure whether you're in range, just ask. I’m happy to clarify and work with you where possible.
Telehealth available Australia-wide.
