You want to feel ready but the clock is ticking.
Pregnancy comes with a flood of advice from family, friends, and endless late-night Googling. Add in the noise of Instagram, Facebook groups and dramatic TV birth scenes, and it’s no wonder so many parents feel anxious and confused.
What most people don’t realise is that this overload of information often makes things harder, not clearer.
What you really need is calm, trustworthy guidance that helps you cut through the noise and focus on what actually matters for your birth.
When you feel steady and informed, birth becomes less about fear. It becomes about stepping into your power as parents.

Why Families Choose Ready to Birth
With guidance that’s both evidence-based and deeply supportive, you will:
🌿 Understand how birth really works
📖 Learn how to work with your body
🛡️ Prepare for unexpected turns with grounded support
✨ Thrive in early parenthood
This program is led by Jennifer Hazi, an Endorsed Private Midwife and Educator who has spent over 17 years walking alongside women and families through pregnancy, birth, and the tender transition into parenthood.
💡 The Research is Clear:
Women in structured antenatal classes were less likely to need a caesarean and more likely to go into labour naturally and birth vaginally (Hooper et al., 2025).
A Midwife-led program over several sessions significantly reduced fear, anxiety, and depression while boosting confidence and trust in the body’s ability to birth (Kuo et al., 2022).
Studies show women felt more satisfied with their birth, better prepared for labour, and more confident as new mothers (Mohammed et al., 2025; Çankaya & Şimşek, 2020).
This isn’t just education — it’s preparation that transforms how you experience birth and early parenthood.

Guided by Experience, Backed by Care
I’m Jennifer Hazi, a Registered and Endorsed Midwife, childbirth educator, and founder of The Gathering Space in Sydney. When I meet a woman in early pregnancy, the first thing I want to know is who she is and what matters most to her. For me, Care isn’t just physical it’s also emotional, mental, and spiritual.
I became a Midwife after the birth of my first daughter showed me that birth can be joyful, powerful, and deeply transformative. Since then, I’ve walked alongside families through every stage from the first positive test through to life with a newborn.
With years of experience in both homebirth and hospital settings, I bring together evidence-based knowledge, clinical skill, and a calm, grounded presence. My teaching goes beyond the basics, giving families practical tools, confidence, and a deeper trust in their own capacity.
Alongside my midwifery work, I co-founded The Gathering Space, a women’s health and community hub offering Midwifery care, Naturopathy, women’s circles, and education that honour the profound transition into motherhood.
