Why Continuity of Care Matters
Research consistently shows that women cared for by a known midwife throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum are more likely to have a normal birth, to breastfeed successfully, and to feel deeply satisfied with their experience.
But beyond statistics, continuity matters because it changes how you feel. You don’t have to repeat your story at every appointment. You don’t have to wonder who will walk into the room when you’re most vulnerable. Instead, you’re held by a steady presence someone who knows you, trusts you, and walks beside you, no matter where your journey leads.
“Women cared for by a known Midwife are more likely to have a normal birth and feel truly satisfied with their care.”
