Practice setup for midwives and doulas
Your practice, ready for its first booking.
You trained to care for women. Nobody trained you to build a website or set up booking software. I'm a private midwife, not a web developer. I've set up my own practice, and I'll help you set up yours. Then I'll show you how it works, so you can run it yourself.
Squarespace, Cliniko and Splose. Your first 20-minute chat is free, with no pressure to go ahead.
The list that never gets shorter
A business name. Maybe a logo. A Squarespace trial that ran out. Bookings coming in by text message, and a practice system you signed up for that still sits empty.
It isn't that you can't do it. It's that every hour on a settings page is an hour away from the women you care for, or your own family.
I've been through it, twice over (I moved my own practice from Cliniko to Splose). I know what a woman looks for when she's deciding who to book. I'll help you set it up so she finds it, and show you how to keep it that way.
Packages
The usual problem is simple. You can't take bookings yet. So the packages start there. Fixed prices in Australian dollars, with the scope written down.
Open for Bookings: Essentials
Cliniko or Splose set up with you. Appointment types and fees (with Medicare items for endorsed midwives), booking descriptions, intake and consent form templates, confirmation and pre-visit emails, terms, cancellation policy and Google Business Profile.
You might choose this if your bookings live in your phone.
About 2 weeks
Open for Bookings: Complete
Everything in Essentials, plus a Squarespace site of up to 7 pages with booking built in. Service pages written in your voice. Two rounds of changes.
You might choose this if you are starting from nothing and want it done once, properly.
5 to 6 weeks
Website only
Up to 3 pages on Squarespace, domain connected, booking button and contact form. One round of changes.
You might choose this if your bookings already work.
About 2 weeks
Audit-Ready Pack
The folder structure and checklists I use to keep my practice ready for an NMBA audit, plus one walkthrough call.
You might choose this if audit paperwork keeps you up at night (it kept me up too).
Within a week
Fix-it Session
Two hours on Zoom for one thing that is stuck. A page that won't behave, a booking link that goes nowhere.
You might choose this if you have built most of it yourself.
Booked as needed
Your forms
Use my templates (included), have me adapt your own, or learn to do it yourself in a Do it with me session.
Templates are a starting point, for you to adapt to your practice and check against your own obligations.
Add-ons
Half to start, half before it goes live. Your Squarespace and Cliniko or Splose accounts are in your name and paid by you. You own everything from day one.
Sites I've built and looked after
Some of these I built from scratch. One I took over and finished. Have a look before you get in touch.
jenniferhazi.com.au
My own practice. Rebuilt, linked to Splose, and moved domains without losing search ranking.
thegatheringspace.com.au
A shared clinic and workshop space in Paddington.
caitlinthemidwife.com.au
A homebirth midwife's site, from the first words to the finished build.
thebondimidwife.com.au
I didn't build this one. I updated the site, finished the outstanding tasks, and supported Monica to learn AI and her systems, set up her workflows and find her brand voice.
It's been three years since I started in private practice, and I've spent thousands on my website, branding and design. No one has been as perceptive at pulling my vision out of me, or as efficient at getting it finished, as Jen.
My website finally looks and sounds like me, and all my materials feel cohesive. She didn't just make the changes. She taught me how to do these things for myself.
Monica Moonen, The Bondi MidwifeJen helped me begin building my website in less than 24 hours. I'd found the whole process overwhelming, and she made it easy and manageable.
She guided me through every step and worked on it in the background, so I can keep shaping it myself. She totally got me and what I wanted to show.

Email me or use the form below. Tell me where you're at.
Free, by phone or Zoom. I'll tell you which package fits, or if you don't need one.
Your services, prices, photos and logo. Half the fee starts the work.
I set up the bones and show you each part as it comes together.
We go through it together and I make your changes.
We go through it together, so you can change your prices, pages and bookings without calling anyone. Including me.
Want the full picture first?
The booklet sets out what I can help you with, what it costs and how we'd work together. It covers every package and add-on, the things that help, common questions and how to reach me. Eight pages, to read when you have a quiet moment or to pass on to a friend.
Fill in your name and email, and the booklet opens on the next page.
Your details come only to me. I won't add you to a mailing list unless you ask.
Start with a chat
Send a note and I'll reply within two working days to book a free 20-minute call. There's no pressure to go ahead after it.

Practice setup is business support, separate from my clinical midwifery care. It isn't clinical supervision, clinical mentoring or clinical advice.
Templates are a starting point. You're responsible for making sure they suit your practice and meet your legal and professional requirements.
No identifiable client information goes into AI tools, in my practice or in anything I set up for yours.
