Cancellation and Non-Attendance Policy

My practice is small and appointments and workshop places are limited. This policy explains what happens when a booking needs to change, and why. It's applied consistently, and always with genuine flexibility for anything pregnancy or birth related..

Clinical appointments

I ask for 24 hours' notice to change or cancel an appointment.

  • More than 24 hours' notice: no fee.

  • Less than 24 hours and non-attendance without any contact: full consultation fee. Payment for non attendance does not attract a medicare rebate.

If a home visit was booked, the travel surcharge isn't charged

Workshops and intensives

Birth education and workshops including: Homebirth Preparation, VBAC Preparation, and the Women's Cycle Map run to a small, fixed number of places, and a late cancellation is very difficult to fill.

  • Full payment is required to secure your place.

  • Cancellations more than 14 days before the workshop: full refund or transfer to a future date at no charge.

  • Cancellations within 14 days: non-refundable, but transferable to a future workshop or transferable to another person attending in your place.

  • Non-attendance on the day: non-refundable and non-transferable.

Thursday evening talks

Non-refundable, but you're welcome to transfer to a future talk if you let me know before the day.

Birth Alchemy Pathway

Because this work is relational and begins with an application process, cancellation terms are agreed individually with you as part of that process rather than set by a standard schedule.

Circles and community programs

Drop-in style circles don't require cancellation notice. If a circle requires pre-payment or a fixed enrolment, that will be stated at booking.

Through your Splose client portal, or by contacting hello@jenniferhazi.com.au as early as you can.

Repeated late cancellation

If a pattern of late cancellation or non-attendance affects my ability to run the practice well for everyone in it, I may need to talk with you about how we continue working together.
